Letchworth Community Museum
The Community Museum opened in 2015 to display temporary exhibitions provided by the community and supported by us, from a variety of local clubs, groups and organisations.
Exciting Programme for 2017
This year sees a varied and vibrant range of exhibitions and displays scheduled at Letchworth Garden City Community Museum, in The Arcade.
The flexible display space, housed in a double shop unit in the town’s beautiful 1920s shopping arcade, offers an opportunity for local groups & societies, schools and artists to showcase their work.
17 to 25 March - Letchworth Camera Club
This popular local group’s latest exhibition showcasing its members’ unique talents behind the lens, with a chance to choose your favourite in a public vote.
27 March to 9 April - The Settlement Crafts Exhibition
Following last year’s popular displays, another exhibition highlighting the amazing creative talent involved at The Settlement with its varied art and crafts courses.
13 to 17 April (Easter Weekend) - Guild of Artisans Craft Shop
Visit a range of unique craft stalls and boutiques with an opportunity to purchase beautiful gifts and handicrafts direct from their makers.
20 April to 7 May - Letchworth Gardens & Open Spaces
An exhibition from the Friends of Howard Park & Gardens, ARCH Community Group and the Friends of Norton Common celebrating Letchworth’s diverse open spaces and gardens.
13 to 20 May - Letchworth Art Society
A selection of different works created by members of the group
10 to 25 June - Letchworth Festival HQ
A takeover at the Community Museum as the Letchworth Festival team take over the space – with an information point and displays relating to the varied programme of events and activities on offer.

The Letchworth Community Museum is located in The Arcade, Letchworth’s historic shopping arcade in the centre of town, between Station Road and Leys Avenue.
Nearest car parking: The Wynd Car Park in Openshaw Way (off Station Road)
