I was at the Town Centre Partnership’s ever-popular Street Fest today, along with my colleagues from the Heritage Foundation. As we set up our gazebo early this morning on Leys Square, we all hoped that the grey clouds would stay away and the gusts of wind would keep to a mere gentle breeze.

Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation are pushing ahead with a strategy to promote Garden City principles internationally.  John Lewis, the Heritage Foundation’s Chief Executive recently visited the Southwest of China to meet students, academics and Government Officials to discuss how the world’s first Garden City was developed and how it is managed today.

Earlier today I got to meet Professor Saito and Professor Namba from the Open University of Japan, as they visited our offices to interview Chief Executive John Lewis on film. The footage will be used in Japan to teach students on Real Estate and Land Economy courses in 2013.
