Letchworth General Market: Today, Thursday and Saturday 15. The general market will run from 8am to 4pm in Leys Avenue.

Bring Your Baby Gallery Tour: Friday, July 14. A special tour at the Broadway Gallery designed for parents and carers, where they are welcome to bring their baby along. Farmers Market: Saturday, July 15. The monthly Farmers Market selling locally produced meats, vegetables and other foodstuffs. In Leys Square. From 8am to 1pm.

Historic Guided Walking Tour: Saturday, July 15. Join one of Letchworth’s Town Historians on a pleasant stroll through some of the highlights of the first Garden City’s history. Meet at the Tourist Information Centre, 33-35 Station Road. Starts 10.30am. Finishes at the International Garden City Institute, where you can enjoy free hot drinks and discover more about the history of Letchworth. Letchworth City Chorus: Saturday, July 15. Helping to ‘Raise the roof’. Concert in aid of St Michaels roof repairs. At St. Michael’s Church, Broadway. Starts at 2.30pm. Tickets £8, £6 concession form St Michael’s Parish Office 01462 676001 or on the door. Refreshments available.

LDGA 53rd Summer Show: Saturday, July 15. 76 classes this year in this popular show including flowers, vegetables, fruit, children’s, photography, handicrafts and art. A Summer’s Evening of Song: Saturday, July 15. Garden City Singers present an evening of song at Letchworth Free Church, Gernon Road. Starts at 7pm. Adults £8, 10-18 Years £5, Under 10 Free.
