Play Rangers: Thursday, August 9. Sessions for children aged 4 – 11 years organised by North Hertfordshire District Council, will held at the following locations: Wilbury Recreation Ground, Archers Way from 9.30am to 11am; Baldock Road Recreation Ground from 12.30 to 2pm;The Grange Recreation Ground, Gaunts Way from 3pm to 4.30pm; and Friday, August 10 at Lordship, Blackmore Playing Fields from 9.30am to 11am; Norton Common, Icknield Way, from 12.30pm to 2pm. Artists’ Network Bedfordshire: Now until August 30.This vibrant artist-led organisation promotes original works of art and craft created by Bedfordshire-based artists. The exhibition showcases some of the varied talents and individual styles of members, using many types of media both traditional and modern. At Letchworth Arts Centre, 2 The Arcade. Toys and Games: Thursday, August 9. Join the ‘History Man’ to find out which toys and games were played in the past and have a go! At Letchworth Museum & Art Gallery, Broadway. For children aged seven years and over. Sessions from 10.30am to 12 noon, 1pm to 2.30pm and 2.45pm to 4.15pm. Booking essential. Admission is free. Tom Jones Tribute Act: Saturday, August 11. Enjoy a two course meal, tribute act and disco. At The Mercure Letchworth Hall Hotel, Letchworth Lane.  Arrival from 7pm. Tickets £20 per person. Behind the scenes at the Museum: An opportunity to see the work that goes on behind the scenes, find out what the museum service has in its collection, and put forward your thoughts about new displays. 70’s and 80’s Nostalgia Quiz: Saturday, August 11. Pull on your flares, ruche down those legwarmers and puff up that perm. Now you’re ready to relive the 70s and 80s with a nostalgia quiz!  Come and test your knowledge or simply relive those moments in the decades that style forgot. The Magic of Colour: An exhibition of pen and ink drawings by Gillian Romeo. Social Dancing: Wednesday, August 15. Shake off those mid-week blues and dance at the Spirella Ballroom, Bridge Street. From 8pm until 10.30pm.

Letchworth Tennis Sports & Club Kids Camp: Until Friday, August 31. This club is perfect for kids who want to try a bit of everything! Tennis, football, hockey, badminton and much more!
