Become a Governor

We’re always looking for new Governors to join the volunteer team that helps steer our direction. Can you help?

In particular, we’re looking for business professionals from a commercial property, charity or marketing and communications background. It’s essential that our Governor team has a cross section of knowledge and experience and after a review we’d like add these skills.

What Governors do

Governors play a vital role in our work, there are 30 in total; either General, Elected or Nominated.

As a Governor you will attend quarterly meetings and can stand for election to the Board of Management. Governors vote to elect the board.

You will provide input to the Board, helping to guide our Strategic Plans and share your views at consultation meetings. You will be invited to comment on the current issues, draft policies, strategies and future initiatives.

Many Governors also participate in workshops and represent us on internal committees and external bodies.
