Keep active through later years with our SPRING IN YOUR STEP Programme

Are you retired or approaching retirement age?

Are you inactive or do little exercise, but could and want to do more? 

Our programme of activities is aimed at the over 50's to help improve your strength, flexibility and mobility and keep you on your feet. There are a variety of sessions to choose from throughout the week, helping to keep you as active as possible and get the most out of later life!

Starting a new group activity in later life can be daunting, but our friendly, experienced session leaders will provide support and encouragement for older adults to become more physically and socially active.  

We all have different needs as we get older, so our sessions are designed to be suitable for everyone including those with limited mobility or conditions such as dementia and Parkinson's.

All sessions are delivered at very low cost or Free where possible. Everyone is welcome and you can also bring friends, relatives or carers and perhaps stay for a cup of tea and a chat afterwards.

Strength and Stretch - Maintain strength, flexibility and healthy joints. A variety of light cardio, toning, mobility, strength and balance with exercises adapted to participants needs. 

Neurobalance - An exercise class for people with a long term health condition, run by a neurological physiotherapist. Classes focus on cardio, balance, strength and co-ordination.

Walking Football - The same rules as regular football but walking. A great way to keep you in the game, maintaining your fitness and enjoyment of a team sport.
