An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Property Team as an Asset Relationship Manager. This is an autonomous role where you will be an integral member of the Property team who are responsible for the active management of the diverse property portfolio. Our commercial property portfolio consists of 385,000 sq ft office, 180,000 sq ft industrial and 147,000 sq ft of retail and leisure space, and generated £9,622k of income year ending December 2018.
The overriding focus of the team is to proactively manage the property assets to generate income, enhance value and to ensure the portfolio is maintained to a high standard.
The role will include specific responsibility for the direct management of the property assets including developing overriding strategies, lettings, disposals and re-gears and acquisitions. To develop and manage the property portfolio to a high standard that is responsive to customer and tenant needs, whilst maximising the income generated.
Lead and effectively manage, and when required, undertake leasehold events and transactions, including rent reviews, lease renewals, lease re-gears, new lettings and valuations. Instruct, manage and monitor consultants and agents appointed to undertake work to the highest standard.
We are a place-based endowed Foundation responsible for the stewardship of Letchworth Garden City. We reinvest our income from our local property investment portfolio to improve the quality of life for our residents. This includes running a cinema/theatre, education farm, gallery, museum and Treatment Centre amongst other facilities and venues. We also fund local charities. We have a staff team of approx. 100 people based across a range of sites in the town.

You will ideally be MRICS qualified (not essential) with a relevant post-graduate degree, a demonstrable track record in a commercial property-related environment and working within multidisciplinary teams
