Head of Communications and Marketing

Summary

We are looking for someone to lead our Communications team as the Foundation implements its new strategic plan and adapts to a new way of working following the pandemic.

This role will support the Leadership Team and embed excellent communications and marketing practices across the organisation that support the Foundation’s vision and values internally and externally.

Role

The successful candidate will be the strategic lead for all the Foundation’s internal and external communication, marketing & engagement across a diverse range of services and venues. This includes arts, culture heritage, wellbeing, environment, learning and housing.

Supporting the Leadership Team and embedding excellent communications and marketing practices across the organisation, this role will develop and deliver an annual Communications and Marketing (CM) strategy supporting the Foundation’s key priorities outlined in the strategic plan.

The role will manage the communications and marketing team to communicate, promote and market the Foundation’s diverse portfolio of services and venues, providing first rate support across web and digital, internal communications, media and external relations, stakeholder and community engagement and design and brand management.

Skills and experience
  • You will be an experienced communications and marketing professional with a solid track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams, advising and supporting leadership teams, delivering integrated campaigns, managing crisis PR, developing and maintaining an engaging internal communications strategy, managing budgets and offering strategic oversight.
  • You will feel comfortable working across the full communications and marketing mix.

35 hours per week (open to flexibility within the role)

Salary
Circa £52k per annum
