Design the official Letchworth 125 logo
In 2028, Letchworth Garden City will celebrate an incredible milestone — 125 years since becoming the world’s first Garden City. To mark the occasion, we’re inviting Letchworth residents to help shape the celebrations by designing the official Letchworth 125 logo.
The winning design will become part of the town’s anniversary celebrations and branding, appearing across campaigns, events and promotional materials connected to Letchworth 125.
The winner will receive a £500 prize.
A celebration of creativity, heritage and community
Letchworth’s 125th anniversary coincides with the year the government will award the UK’s first ever Town of Culture title — and Letchworth is preparing its bid to become UK Town of Culture 2028.
This competition is an opportunity for residents to play a direct role in representing the town’s identity, creativity and future ambitions.
Founded on pioneering ideas about wellbeing, culture and community, Letchworth has inspired towns and cities around the world for more than a century. Today, the town continues to thrive through its vibrant network of artists, makers, performers, volunteers, community groups and cultural organisations.
We’re looking for a logo that captures the spirit of Letchworth — past, present and future.
