This touching documentary, tells the story of how local film-maker, Iain Cunningham went in search of the mother he never knew. Irene, the Ghost of the title, died before Iain had a chance to know her...so this is a story of his journey through friends and relatives, all those who knew her and remembered her, in an attempt to understand her, to know her better.
