Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for a role where you can see the impact of your work every day?
Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to play a leading role in maintaining, enhancing and shaping our diverse portfolio of residential, commercial and operational properties. From historic buildings and community assets to investment properties and exciting improvement projects, no two days are the same.
You will take ownership of building surveys, planned maintenance programmes, refurbishment and construction projects, contractor management and compliance, helping to ensure our estate remains vibrant, sustainable and fit for the future.
THE ROLE:
- Leading property inspections, surveys and condition assessments.
- Delivering maintenance, refurbishment and capital projects from concept to completion.
- Managing contractors, consultants and project budgets.
- Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, CDM and other statutory requirements.
- Supporting sustainability initiatives and long-term asset improvement plans.
- Providing expert technical advice across the organisation.
ABOUT YOU:
- Degree-qualified in Building Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in building surveying and project delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of construction, maintenance and property compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Professional membership of RICS, CIOB or CABE is desirable.
