Governance

We are committed to strong governance and to operating as an open and accountable organisation. Our Board of Governors is made up of a diverse group of individuals selected through a combination of democratic and skills-based processes. To find out more about our Governance, click here.

Elected Governors

Six Governors are elected, direct, through a poll of registered electors in the SG6 postcode area. The elections take place every five years. The six candidates polling the highest number of votes are appointed to serve for a five year term.

Elections were held in September 2022. Future elections will be announced on this webpage and through local media.

Letchworth Garden City Clubs and Societies registered with us determine a further 10 Nominated Governor places, from the categories specified in Rule 27.
