In addition to being a community grant-giving organisation, since 2023 the Foundation is now actively seeking support from like-minded organisations to help us fulfil our culture and leisure vision as we strive to provide opportunities for our Letchworth residents and beyond.
Grants from Trusts and Foundations are a particularly vital part of our funding model and together with an annual commitment from the Foundation, are the basis of our fundraising strategy.
This mixed funding model ensures:
Sustainable Accessibility – through our year-round programme focused on children, families, and our local community.
Cultural Learning – through our vital programme for primary and secondary schools.
Development Pathways – for our next generation, emerging and future artists at Broadway Gallery.
Creative Engagement – with underrepresented communities, and by working in partnership, we aim to give a greater voice, more opportunities and access to these group.

2023 was also the second delivery year of our Culture Strategy, where we set out our vision that Letchworth will be a thriving arts, culture and heritage centre, providing opportunities for all to engage and achieve high levels of participation.

Our Supporters
Our strength lies in our ability to deliver on our strategic aims by partnering with grant-giving bodies whose objectives match ours. It is with sincere gratitude that their generous support enables us to elevate our cultural offer and make Letchworth known for its incredible array of opportunities.
