Letchworth Financial Health Project
We fund and work closely with Citizens Advice to support Letchworth residents to maximise their income and manage their costs through the Letchworth Financial Health Project. This means that people have more money in their pocket, are better able to manage any debt and have increased confidence in managing their money and budgets.
In January-March 2026, the project supported 107 people and had financial outcomes of £275,417. £19,680 of the financial outcomes were for families with dependent children.

Hello Holidays
We ran the Hello Holidays campaign for the Easter holidays, promoting the free Letchworth offer to families across the town. There was something for everyone - from free activities at Letchworth Library and town centre events provided by Love Letchworth, to free self-led drop-in activities and snacks at Broadway Gallery throughout the holidays.

Skills Development
We’re looking at opportunities for skills development for all ages across the town and talking to organisations who already provide and support this development. This will help us understand our role in expanding access to these opportunities, as well as recognising all the skills people develop already through being part of existing programmes, projects and opportunities.

Strategic Lead: Fiona Grant
Fiona Grant, Policy, Research & Programme Manager - Poverty & Prosperity“In addition to Citizens Advice supporting families to access almost £20,000 in financial outcomes in Q1, I’m proud to see Hello Holidays – originally a summer holiday offer - becoming a fixture of all school holidays. I hope families, children and young people will benefit from having free activities in Letchworth gathered together in one place. I’m excited to see this develop over time and hope it will become a go-to resource for local families.”
