I am a Letchworth Garden City resident with a house in the conservation area and recognise Letchworth’s important contribution to the design of towns. I am concerned about climate and economic resilience and led Transition Town Letchworth group initiatives which focused on energy, housing and transport. I brought together teams to draft a community cycle network plan for Letchworth and community proposals for updating Letchworth Design Principles.
In my career as an operational researcher I worked in the energy, transport and health sectors, analysing data, modelling processes and optimising systems. I have held performance management roles where I brought together quantitative and qualitative information to provide a strategic assessment on organisation performance.
As a governor I hope to ensure that the needs of local residents are at the forefront of Heritage Foundation decision making.
