Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation has awarded £14,280 to Letchworth Foodbank following an application to its COVID-19 Catalyst Grant Programme, which was set up to support local groups and charities impacted by the pandemic.
COVID-19 forced the Heritage Foundation to close many of its arts and heritage venues and services which was devastating. This funding will be used to reopen the Garden City Collection and Museum at One Garden City, plus other activities and plans.
The Community Response Team (CRT), set up by the Heritage Foundation to support Letchworth residents during lockdown, has thanked the community for their incredible show of support as their helpline closes this week.

Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation provided grant funding to help a Hertfordshire charity purchase 16 reconditioned iPads so that disabled local people could socialise and take part in online activity sessions during lockdown.
