Antony and Cleopatra: Today, Thursday. Christmas Book Signing: Saturday, December 8. Art Studio - Open Weekend: Saturday, December 8 and Sunday 9. The Digswell Arts Trust’s Winter Open Studios event, where visitors can view paintings, drawings, ceramics, textiles, photography, jewellery, sculpture and elements of taxidermy, and talk to the artists about their creative practice, purchase work and also find out about the range of classes and workshops that are available. Who Let the Dads’ Out: Saturday, December 8. A group for Dads’, Grandads’ and father figures to enjoy with their under 6’s. Pop along and enjoy a bacon roll, coffee and biscuits. The Christmas Journey: Saturday, December 8. Join St Pauls’ church for a family friendly Christmas Journey Experience including a shepherd’s camp, the Wise Men’s Tent, pet a camel and of course, peek into the manger! Free refreshments. Tenors at Christmas: Saturday, December 8. Family Arts Studio – Winter Prints: Sunday, December 9. Artist Kaitlin Ferguson leads a hands-on craft activity inspired by the artworks on display in the Broadway Gallery. Artisan Christmas Market with Grotto: Sunday, December 9. Join St Thomas More Parents’ Association at their Artisan Christmas Market to help raise funds for the school and provide a platform to local businesses run by local parents. With 20 stalls you are sure to find some fabulous Christmas presents. Plus licensed bar and Hot Gourmet Food. Father Christmas will be handing out small toys to the little ones. Santa’s New Sleigh: Sunday, December 9, Monday 10 and Tuesday 11. Christmas is fast approaching and Santa’s Sleigh is nowhere to be found. The Nutcracker Trail: On now until Friday December 21. On the lead up to Christmas, two friendly, five foot tall Nutcracker Soldiers are visiting Garden Square. After their appearance in Santa’s Grotto, they will be moving from shop to shop, so be on your guard! Shoppers are invited to hunt down the Nutcrackers in order to win a prize. Simply note down which store you see them in each week and then submit your entry form to Specsavers in Garden Square before Friday 21st December. A winner will be selected at random from the correct answers and will bag a family set of cinema tickets. There are also two runner up prizes to be won. At Garden Square Shopping Centre. Santa’s Grotto: On now until December 22. Santa will be in his Grotto every Saturday until Christmas. At Garden Square Shopping Centre. From 10am – 12.30pm and 1pm – 4pm. Entry £3 per child or £5 for two children. All monies raised goes towards Prospects Trust and 1st Baldock (Templars) Cub Scouts.

Letchworth Christmas Shop: On now until Saturday, December 22. With an exclusive range of bespoke Letchworth gifts, including 2019 calendars, charity Christmas cards and gifts for all budgets. Eduardo Paolozzi – General Dynamic F.U.N.: On now until Sunday, January 13. An exhibition of prints by the pioneer of pop art.
