Egg-citing fun at Standalone Farm this Easter

Get down to Standalone Farm over the Easter holidays for some egg-cellent seasonal fun with an egg hunt, themed craft workshops and some new additions to welcome to the fold.

The fun kicks off with an Easter trail throughout the farm grounds over the Easter weekend (31 March and 1 April).  Guests will need to keep their eyes peeled to spot the eggs hidden by the farm’s mischievous Boris the Bunny. Those able to find them all, will be rewarded with a special chocolate treat.

On weekdays (2 – 6 and 9 – 13 April) a range of craft activities will take place in the barn, from making bunny ears to creating some fluffy pompom chicks.

A special ‘Hopstical Course’ devised by Boris will, weather permitting, also be run across the fortnight, with a chance to win a special prize.

Vanessa Sawyer, Visitor Experience Manager at Standalone Farm said “The Easter holidays are always a busy time for us and we’re looking forward to welcoming visitors old and new. We’ve had some very special arrivals since we opened in February, including lambs, piglets and a calf. Spring has sprung – so bring you wellies and a mac and come and join us!”
