Volunteer & Programmes Manager - Fixed Term Contract

Summary

We are looking for an experienced individual to lead the implementation of our volunteer strategy. 

This role is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2021 (extension subject to funding).

Skills and experience
  • Working within an arts, heritage and/or culture organisation
  • Leading a volunteer programme or team of volunteers
  • Good understanding of volunteer recruitment and retention processes and procedures
  • Delivering projects and activities with a customer focus
  • Working with partner organisations in the voluntary sector
  • Creating innovative and deliverable, volunteer led project plans

This will include supporting the opening of our heritage, museum and arts sites and creating a range of exciting and engaging projects for our target audiences.  The successful candidate will also contribute to the creation and delivery of a new culture audience development plan.
