Get creative at Broadway Gallery

Creative Play Sessions – led by Make Your Own Happy, artist Donna Davies.

Head to the Broadway Gallery for an hour of summer-themed creative play for children aged 3 - 6.

The FREE art sessions will be held on Friday 11th August at 1pm and Friday 18th August at 10am.

Each session aims to provide an encouraging environment for little artists to experiment with a range of materials, focusing on enjoying the process rather than the end result.

This type of creative play will help your child develop their fine motor skills, express themselves and build confidence whilst having lots of fun in the process!

Donna Davies is an EYFS-trained teacher and artist.

Family Arts at Broadway Gallery

Head to Broadway Gallery for their FREE Family Arts Studio. Located on the top floor of Broadway Gallery, Family Arts Studio plays host to a range of fun workshops, afterschool clubs and art classes. The Studio is fully equipped with a range of art-making materials and can be used for free when we are not hosting a class.

During the school holidays, sign up for a special Family Arts - working with guest artist Preet Cox, young artists will explore Rangoli art and design creating colourful mixed media Mandalas with mindfulness at the heart of the activity. The session will involve decorating Mandala designs using a mixture of collage materials including sequins and gems. Participants will be able to display their individual mandalas as vibrant wall hangings.

The sessions will run every second Saturday of the month between 10am and 1pm. Sign up via the Broadway Gallery website or Eventbrite for a 1 hour slot. Families are encouraged to pay what they can for the workshop.
